My dear mother:
The same old story , these
days. Lots of work; little time.
I have ^been busy of late passing exes
and preparing my outline for
the graduating thesis. I have
passed off two exes making up
back work thereby, and felt
somewhat jubilant and careless
now. On Tuesday I make my
preliminary report on the above thesis.
On Thursday the University
closes but I shall not be able
to return right away. I shall
have to take another examina-
tion covering back work and the
