Dear Folks -
Just one last quick note to let you know I'm still
just fine, have survived finals, and am ready
& eager to meet a plane in just 5 days to
leap quick to San Francisco and see you again.

I'm staying at the youth hostel here in Vienna,
formerly a Baroque palace in the woods at the edge
of town and very lovely and pleasant in the warm
sunshine of early summer. Spent a wonderful evening
last night at the concert of the Vienna Choir Boys
(musical perfection really, and they really deserve
their world-wide fame) and have several more
fine evenings ahead.

We spent a day in Salzburg on the way here, and
it is one of the most beautiful cities I have seen in
all Europe, set at the foot of the Alps in the green
valley of the Salzac river.

I'm off now to walk all over Vienna, see what I
can in the next few days. See you in a jiffy!
