My dearest Darling -

Got your letter today from after your illness. Maybe that was what was
bothering me a few days ago. I sure hope you're really better now - I don't want
them to have to carry you out in the runway on June 11. You're obligated to
make it under your own power, to stay healthy and keep getting lots of
sleep. And golly I'm glad you and Holly got lined up on the housing
deal, got the confusion straightened out there. That should be a comfortable
twosome I suspect. Did I mention suggesting to Dave that Dick (Hopkins)
be our 3'rd roommate next year. (Don has to move out of course, as grad student)
I haven't had time to get a reply yet, will let you know what turns out.
Anyway Dave + I are set in good old 222 together.

Your summer school plan don't sound quite so bad as I imagined. B [But?]
I still don't see how you can work 40 - 50 hours and go to school too!
How many units will you take, sweetheart, and what courses are available?
Oh, doesn't summer school end in mid August or so? giving you lots
of free time at the end to work - or "visit" in Bakersfield and Fresno. Neat!
I still don't know yet what I'll be doing - trying first for P. G. + E. (maybe
a 5 day week!) and second will take trucking job. I'll tell you as soon
as Dad tells me, which it is to be.

It's been a lovely, sunny weekend here, so nice I've hardly gotten
any work done. I played volleyball for an hour or so after dinner last
night - what fun! And then the Tarshuses had about 6 kids in for
the evening - cookies, wine, conversation, also fun! I was up until
almost 1 am again meeting the last train with the bus, so its some-
thing of an effort to concentrate today. But I'm working at it
nonetheless! Got lots of World Lit to read, and may try to spend a few
hours at the Krauters later this afternoon.

Gotta run before I miss lunch, darling. I love you very, very
much, and pay you stay healthy from now on. Sweet Dreams,
