[written] My darling Nannie -

Last Sunday, Theodora wrote
you so I thought I would write Wednesday
when lo & behold she did not mail hers
till Wednesday so I waited till to-day. I did-
n't mean to skip a week and wont do it
again. There is so much more that has
accumulated that I shall have to tie strings
in all my fingers not to forget any thing
It will be easier to begin to-day & go back-
wards - so first-off - Yesterday I did not go to church
but studied about an hour and slept the rest
of the time. Bessie Blossom came over in the
afternoon & made a chatty little visit. She
is such a sweet little Freshman whose name
just suits her. Saturday Theodora and I
decided to go to San Jose to see about getting
something ready to wear to the Sigma Alpha
Epsilon Fraternity party next Saturday
night. It is to be a house-warming for a
beautiful great new house in Palo Alto
a reception to about 400 in the afternoon
& a select dance in the evening. Theodora
& I had about accepted for the afternoon
when the girls were so persuasive that
