lounge in our supposedly empty room. She had been
down to the Farm over Sunday and stopped off
for the day. Rose and I went over to Palo Alto
to church today - it is a pretty long walk
tho' and we were tired when we got back in
time for dinner which we have in the middle of
the day. Soup, Roast duck and apple sauce, celery, cauliflower
celery salad - and oranges was our repast - but
the fare doesn't taste so good to me after the dainties
we had at the Mabury and Myricks.

I am going to enclose the miserable photos that
Prof. Heart took. Please save the best one for
yourself - there is one that I think quite good of
you but all are somewhat discouraging
attempts.
