[typed] My dearest Nannie--

This is just a line in the midst of the last flurry of work
to tell you I have gotten at last the old Sequois with two or three
things in it, I wrote--such poor trash you can - no doubt pick it
out from the rest. Had my last ex yesterday but must hand in a
paper to-morrow. Next week is my of & this week
there is a little evening at Mrs. Prof. Powers, a children's tea
at Mrs. Dunn's, and Mrs. Jorden asked me with a few others to help
her pour and serve at the senior-faculty reception Friday, so much
for what isn't down on the program - I send you.

We have lovely weather & my little dimity is going to do good
service Commencement week. There was a fraternity ride Saturday
evening but I declined.

Bye-bye--my dearest Nannie,
Your Toodles
