[written] We are having lovely weather, tho'
last week it was rainy. It was
sick - that is just mildly under-
the-weather as one should be once
a month so stayed in bed a
couple of day - a fact for which
I think I should be duly patted
on the back.

Last Wednesday evening, being
moonlight a bicycle ride was
planned with tomales & coffee
in a little grove near Palo Alto,
but the rain made us decide
to have our tomales & coffee in
the Hall with wafers & welsh rarebits
beside. Every one had an awfully
good time & just when things
were getting poky the Glee Club
came over and serenaded, afterwards
we danced.
