Status: Needs Review

April 20th - 1896.

My dear Annie -

I can scarcely realize
that there are so few weeks more
in this short year. It has secured
like a year of play - it is so
easy just to learn things and
history especially. I do not
remember whether or not I told
you that I wrote to Mrs. Hughes
at Belmont to know if there
were a vacancy there as I heard
that Miss [Sweeney?] was going East
again but find that for the
past year she has been at another
school in Belmont as principal.
I can't tell you what I shall
do - that is next year. Rose
and I are very happy to go
back home - straighten out
