17 Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.85 to 30.05 - Keeper & 2nd asst showing visitors in tower - Had twenty six visitors.

18 Light wind to fresh breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.08 to 30.00 - Keeper and 2nd asst showing visitors in tower - Had sixty visitors - Keeper and 2nd asst repairing barn door today.

19 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.00 to 29.87 - General duties for the day - Keeper and 2nd asst showing visitors in the tower - Had ten visitors - 2nd asst weeding on his part of garden.

20 Fresh and moderate breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 29.87 to 29.85 - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail and supplies - Keeper and 2nd asst showing visitors in tower - Had fifty five visitors.

27 Light south and variable winds these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours thick fog showers - Last part of 24 hours fair and warm - Sea smooth - Keeper and 2nd asst cleaning all brass work at sta - Keeper and 2nd asst showing visitors in tower - Had twenty nine visitors in tower - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail and supplies - U.S. Light House tender crossed into Yaquina at 11 A.M. and landed annual supplies for the station.

28 Light S. to west and variable winds these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours rain showers - Last part of 24 hours damp & fair - Sea little rough - Barometer 30.05 to 30.26 - Keeper & 2nd asst showing visitors in tower - Had fourty visitors - Keeper and 2nd asst stowing away annual supplies - Mr. McDonald hauling annual supplies - U.S. Light House tender crossed out of Yaquina & passed sta at 1 P.M. going north.

29 Light south wind to moderate and fresh breeze north these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea smooth - General duties for the day - Barometer 30.26 to 30.32 - Keeper and 2nd asst showing fifty five visitors in the tower - Keeper looking over annual supplies.

30 Fresh breeze north these 24 hours - First part of 24 hours fair - Last part of 24 hours heigh dry fog - Sea smooth - Barometer 30.32 to 29.92 - 2nd asst washing - Keeper went to Newport after mail and supplies - 2nd asst working in garden.

Ford 2nd asst has been nominated for 1st asst at this station to take effect August 1st.
