2nd North west wind rain squalls. Sea mod. Bar. 29.91. Keeper working in his quarters. 1st asst working in his part of garden. 2nd asst went on leave of absence. 2nd asst left station at 3:00 AM today for 14 days.

3rd North west wind squalls to calm to southerly winds. Sea smooth. Bar 29.95 30.08. Keeper and first asst painting front porch floor & steps also kitchen steps.

4th Light variable winds cloudy warm & dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.05. Keeper and 1st asst painting chimneys on keeper dwellings and out house trimmings.

5th Light northerly wind damp misty. Sea smooth. Bar 30.02. 1st asst working in his part of garden. Keeper getting in cord wood.
