1 Light east wind clear dry. Sea smooth. Bar 29.80. General duties for the day.

2 Light to fresh north east breeze clear dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.21. General duties for the day.

3 Fresh northerly breeze to calm flurries of snow. Sea smooth. Bar 30.38. Keeper working in shop. 2nd asst getting wood on beach. 1st asst working in barn.

4 Light north east breeze clear cold. Sea smooth. Bar 30.52. Keeper washing. 1st asst working in his quarters. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail.

5 Light east to south east wind dry. Sea smooth. Bar 30.20. Keeper and asst keepers working in there quarters. General duties for the day.

6 Fresh south east breeze squally rain. Sea rough. Bar 30.08. General duties for the day. Keeper and asst keepers working in there quarters.

7 Mod south west breeze squally rain. Sea rough. Bar 30.10. Keeper & 2nd asst sawing wood. 1st asst went to Newport for mail and supplies.

8 Mod westerly wind showers heavy swell. Bar 30.20. 1st and 2nd asst working in there quarters. Keeper went to Newport for mail & supplies.

9 Light south east wind dry heavy west swell. Bar 29.92. General duties for the day. 2nd asst showing 4 visitors in tower.

10 Light south east wind rain heavy westerly swell. Bar 29.86. Keeper 1st and 2nd asst working in there respective quarters.

11 Light south east to east wind showers heavy westerly swell. Bar 29.50. Keeper & 1st asst working in the shop. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail. 1st asst showing 6 visitors in tower.

12 Moderate south east to east breeze. Sea mod dry. Bar 29.86. Keeper sawing wood. 1st and 2nd asst getting wood on the beach.

13 Fresh south east breeze to rain squalls. Sea rough. Bar 29.50. Keeper and 2nd asst working in there respt quarters. 1st asst went to Newport for mail.

14 Fresh south east breeze squally rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.52. Keeper and asst keepers working in there quarters. General duties for the day.

15 Fresh south east breeze continuous rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.31. Keeper opening oil cases in oil houses. 2nd asst getting wood on beach. Keeper left station at 10 AM for Newport.

16 Fresh south to south east wind rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.96. Keeper returned to station at 10 AM. General duties for the day.

17 Southerly gale rain. Sea rough. Bar 30.02. Keeper, 1st and 2nd asst working in there respective quarters.

18 Southerly gale rain to mod breeze. Sea rough. Bar 29.86. Keeper working in shop. 1st asst working in barn. 2nd asst sawing wood.

19 South to south east wind showers heavy swell. Bar 30.14. Keeper and asst keepers filing oil butts 22 cases mineral oil emptied into butts.

20 Light west to south east wind rain heavy work swell. Bar 29.91. Keeper and 1st asst sawing wood. 2nd asst went to Newport for mail & supplies.

21 Fresh south east breeze continuous rain misty heavy w swell. Bar 29.90. 1st & 2nd asst working in there quarters. Keeper went to Newport on account St. Condor??? Fogarty team delivered stove & fixture with stove pipes & ???,

22 Fresh south east wind thick weather rain. Sea rough. Bar 29.68. General duties for the day. Keeper and asst keepers working in there quarters.

23 Fresh south east wind squally rain misty. Sea rough. Bar 29.30. General duties for the day.
