as large as a quarter of a Doll. Collard
plants plenty Large to set out, -
27. began to prize good Tobacco, manured
plant Beds, planted Irish Potatoes &
one square Greens in Garden & began
to plant cotton, - Breaking up Tobacco
Lot by Granary - halled fodder
28 Raining prizing Tobacco finished
Planting cotton etc. Fed shoemaking
my wife gone to Mrs Hunts -
29. Rained nearly all night ground very
wet this morning. making up Cross fence
in the field, prizing fine Tobacco &
Good to day.
30. Halling & Plowing for Tobacco
May 1st Finished prizing good fine & Lugs
this day & nearly done short Tobacco
2 Plowing for Tobacco. Hilling in new
ground
