of peas? Generally two are planted but one
does as well.

8th When to uncover cabbage, and set up
for sprouts? Any time now, Ap. 1st or earlier

9th When shall I transplant little roses,
raised from cuttings? 1st of May

10th What is the best early corn? Fred Stabler's!

11th What is the proper time to prune roses? Not
yet, wait until warmer weather.

12th When set out peach trees? Soon the better

13th What have members planted in theirs
S. B. Farquhar, Lettuce and Radishes
Rockland 5 hot beds Alloway, potatoes
Rock Spring, Hot-bed and Peas
White Hall, Hot bed. Longwood, Hot-beds

A member suggested that it would
be wise to raise vegetables and flowers especially
for the Fair and to have a care during
the whole season, of the finest specimens, so
as to take the very best we can for exhibition,
which was fully united with and all
advised to make the effort.

The President reiterated his oft expressed
wishes that each member, should feel it
a duty to bring some specimens to every meeting,
thus making variety each time and
greatly increasing the interest.

The Poultry was then called for, the
result being 75 chickens this year, against
