to be worked? Experiment with top dressing

5 When dig Dahlia roots? When in dan-
-ger of freezing

6 Where is the best place to keep roots
In the potatoe cellar

7 Why do petunias lose their color? It is
a common change. No reason given.

We then adjourned to the speci
men table which we found well filled; exhibits
from Olney, Beets, apples, Lima beans, turnips, & tom
atoes Hermon, cabbage, tomatoes & Flowers.
Rockland, beets, egg plants, cabbage, tomatoes
kohl-rabi Lima beans, sweet potatoes corn, pep
-pers and Flowers. Brooke Grove, egg plants
tomatoes, celery, cabbage, beets, parsnips, car
rots Lima beans and salsify. Our visit to
the garden showed all things flourishing,
especially were we struck by the rows of Lima
beans and indeed all vegetables were most
beautiful. Adjourned after a very pleasant
meeting to meet the first Tuesday in
April.
