The decision of this society is that
the year following a very dry year is
is not, by any means, always a fruitful
one, many cases were cited of failures in
crops this year, when the hopes were for a
very fruitful one. The meeting at this place
was a pleasure which we had not fully ex
-pected as our hostess had been ill. Our
walk was enjoyed; the garden still had
many vegetables and the pot plants
looked flourishing.
