Our society, with the exception of
the members from Longwood, Norwood, Olney
and White Hall, met at Hermon. Our
guests were Mary W. Kirk, Sarah Kirk, Ellen
Stabler, Elsie Stabler, Charles Kirk Miss
Johnson, and Rebecca Miller
The President expressed the feelings
of love and sympathy of the society toward
the members who were absent because
of illness in their families.
The specimens were from Rockland
lettuce, turnips, Kohl-rabi, parsnips, Kale
beet, rhubarb, tomato plant 1 foot high,
egg plant 6 inches and a brilliant array
of Tulips and geraniums. Sharon
flowers from house and garden, among them
several lovely roses. Riverside asparagus
and flowers. Avalon asparagus and flowers
The Cedars flowers. Rock Spring, pea 14 in. high
and the flowers almost expanded; tomato
plant 9 inches potato 6 in. and asparagus
The poultry report showed an advance
on the corresponding month last year
