slim, is it best to cut off and let it form
a new top or plant out young bushes?
It is the habit of the white lilac to grow
taller and more spindling than the
purple.

11 Is it too early to set out tomato plants?
The majority say not too early

12 Will it do to move pieplant in June? Yes

We found the garden in beautiful order
The hot-beds full of splendid strong plants. The long
rows of raspberry and currant bushes, the roses and
flower beds were greatly admired. The lawn had
lost its longest oak, in a gale. Its absence gave
a glimpse of distance which some thought an improve
