Our Society met at the usual hour
The absent were the members from Longwood
and Willow Grove. Our guests
were Harriet Haines and Miss Florence
Miller of Philadelphia, Miss Johnson,
Miss Fowler, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Emily Jackson
Annie and Sarah Kirk Sarah E. Stabler
Mariana Stabler Alice Tyson D. A. Lea
Anna Lea and Frank Lea

Our specimens were abundant and
unusually fine Though insects are so
numerous, by the use of helebore and
various insecticides, we had a grand
display of flowers. From Brooke
Grove, corn 4 feet high, salsify, cabbage
onions, Lima beans 2 feet high, potato
2 1/2 inches long, beets, cauliflowr, tomato
size of a small walnut, peas and flowers.
From Rockland egg plant 12 inches, pota
-to size of a hickory nut, peas, radishes
beets, lettuce, onions, pepper, cabbage
and flowers; from Olney, lettuce, beets on-
-ions, peas, and flowers

White Hall salsify, beets, onions, plums
(3 kinds) damsons and flowers.

Avalon strawberries; from The Cedars
strawberries and flowers; from Hermon
lettuce, Lima beans 3 feet high, beets, peas,
water melon vine 1 foot long, and flowers
