White Hall

July 7th 1887

The meeting at White Hall was called
to order at the usual time; the absent members
were those from Falling Green, Willow Grove, Olney
Longwood, Riverside, Hermon and Norwood

Our guests were Mrs. Steiger and daughter
Dr and Miss Rogers, Dr & Mrs. Hardy, Mrs John
Smith Alice & Martha Tyson Janie Smith, Mr. &
Mrs. Tom Moore, Miss Bedford of Phila. Mr & Mrs
Gilbert Smith, the Misses Hamlin, Estelle Moore,
Mr Adams, Mr & Mrs Edward Bentley & Mr John Snowden.
& Miss Compton.

The tables were filled with an unusually
fine display of vegetables and very choice
flowers. The exhibits were from

Rockland cabbage, beets, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes
parsnips, onions, cymlings, cucumbers, snap
beans Okra, Blackberries Raspberries & flowers.

Alloway cymblings, potatoes, corn salsify Tomtoes,
Raspberries & flowers.

Rock Spring, Cymlings, cabbage, cucumbers, beets,
corn, beans, pears, peppers & Raspberries

Brooke Grove, cauliflower, cymlings, Tomatoes
beets, carrots, salsify, potatoes, corn, beans, pears,
onions, a dock root 3 feet long & flowers

Edgewood, corn, Tomatoes, apples, raspberries
& plums. Avalon flowers. Cloverlea, corn & potatoes

Osceola cabbage, beans, pears, cucumbers, onions
Okra, potatoes, cymling, corn & beets.
