1885
This year, on April 7th, our Members met
at Falling Green, - and offered the compishments
of the season, - one to another.
We had two new familes added to our list,
Debbie Brooke & John & Camelia Bentley.
Thomas & Beulah Lea having resigned.
The Aug. meeting was at Willow Grove;
we now number 16 families, which was
voted to be our limit. Our last meeting
was at Norwood Oct 6. At parting, as
we gathered around our lovely hostess
Anna L. Moore, for her words of
"farewell" - standing amid the Autumn
flowers, none more beautiful than she;
we felt , with aching hearts, that this
might be a final leave - taking; - and so
it proved, her sweet spirit passed from
earth on the 8th of Nov.

1886

In both the Spring, and the Fall of
1886, -- death claimed our oldest, and
dearly-loved members. Sarah B. Stabler
met with us at Hermon on the 4th of May,
though feeble in health, her bright charac-
-teristic remarks, gave the information, for
which, we seldom sought, from her, in vain.
In Horiculture, she was a wonder, to everyone
also had the privilege of visiting "Sharon"
and walking around, -- her Orchard, and
garden, where were fruit-trees laden with
finest fruit, of great variety and abundance
