This meeting was out of the ususal time
owing to the desire of our hostess that our President
should be present. He had been to Chicago
St. Louis &c. We assembled at the usual
hour and after waiting for our President for
some time a message came that he was too
sick to be with us. Roger Farquhar obliged
by presideing. The absent were Alney Longwood
Falling Green and Willow Grove. Our guests
were Pattie Stabler, Elisha Miller, Julian Miller
Dr. Greene, Alice, Eva and Marian Stabler and
Hon. members Robert Moore and Edward & Deborah
Lea. Our speicimens were fine and abundant
Rockland 2 varietes of squash, beets, onions, cabbage
salsify, parsnip, corn, cucumbers blackberries Apples and flowers
The Cedars, tomatoes, cucumbers, squashes,
and flowers.
Brooke Grove, Lima beans, beets, tomatoes, peas,
corn, onions, snap beans, celery, 6 inches high
wild-goose plums, and flowers
Rock Spring, Cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, onions
beets and corn.
Edgewood, squash, cabbage, tomatoes, beets, potatoes
wax beans, apples and roses.
