A motion was made to assess the member

appointed to collect the money.

On the specimen table our hostess
had a vase of lovely sweet peas.
Ellen Farquhar a spray of coral plant and
D. A. Lea a double sunflower and alpine
strawberry plant: and one member brought
beautiful flowers, peaches, and Lima beans
The Secretary withholds the name of this member
out of tender consideration for the feelings
of the 14 who did not contribute
to the table. Our guest Mrs. Haviland
off sets of cactus for distribution

Our walk in the garden found many
flowers and beautiful order. A new strawberry
bed, a bed of Kale and fine vegetables
especially salsify and celery.
