doing well. At one place grasshoppers
were very troublesome

Mary Miller was asked to give some
account of the plants and methods of
gardening she had seen in her travels,
at the next meeting

We enjoyed the box walk and the
visit to the garden which was in good
order; vegetables looked well; grapes
seemed abundant, and the strawberry
beds were large and in fine condition

We enjoyed having our former assistant
Secretary, Mary Moore Tilton with us
again; She gave her assistance as naturally
as though she had never left us

Adjourned to meet next at
Alloway
