It seemed to improve the fruit where
tried and further experiments thought
advisable.
John Bentley has Emberton geese
and likes them well. One egg weighs
10 ozs. and the geese seem strong and
healthy.

Our walk in the garden was satisfactory.
The lettuce was very fine. Many
of the hardy and some of the tender
vegetables were planted. The fower
garden was a thick green sod with
beds of various shapes cut in it foods
plants when the proper time comes for
setting them out. The rose bushes were
fine. Hoping the next meeting at this place
will be in March less than 26 years.
