Hermon June 5th 1894
Nearly all the members were present at the meeting and most arrived with becoming punctuality. It had been six years since our last meeting at Harmon. In that time we miss the presence of many valued members and intimate friends, who "are not lost, but gone before". Our Resident encouraged the feeling that they are still with us, and the fact that we so frequently refer to advice given by them proves that they are influencing us still.
The absent Norwood Edgewood and Cloverley, our guests, Mrs. Young, Miss Masters of Bermuda, Miss Linker, Miss Turner, Rebecca Miller, Dr Green and Edith Farquhar
The specimens were excellent from The Cedars [2 words underlined] a beautiful display of roses, a dahlia in bloom (in June) Black Gartarian cherries, potatoes, fine beets, onions, corn 3 ft high and Lima bean vine 24 inches long
Falling Green [2 words underlined], potato size of a turkey
