The specimens exhibited were fine and
in good variety. Apples and very large
early chestnuts from Stanmore;
from Riverton flowers, parsnips salsify and Lima beans; Hermon flowers
and sweet potatoes; Edgewood apples
turnips and sweet potatoes; Fair Hill
flowers; The Cedars flowers and egg-plant
Longwood flowers and apples
R. H. Miller brought from the experiment
station, flowers. Rockland had a beautiful
bowl of roses and a fine lot of
egg-plants which the members were invited
to take.
