This meeting, the first for the year
was well attended. The distance and
cloudiness did not prevent the members
and various guests from coming.
Our guests were Mariana Reese Albina
Stabler Janney Shoemaker Karrie Pancoast
Charles and Nellie Farquhar Ben and Sarah
Miller
and Newton Stabler. Absent
Norwood, Stanmore and Woodburn
During the hour for business we were
treated to a thunder storm and it became
so dark that a lamp was lighted
for those who had to read.
The specimens were from Riverside
flowers salsify and carrots, Riverton
flowers, salsify, carrots, parsnips kale
and plants from hot bed, Avalon
flowers, Hermon flowers kale, lettuce, cabbage
and onion; The Cedars flowers, cabbage
plants, a tomato plant 6 inch high and lettuce
also some yellow rose plants for distribution
Longwood flowers; Tanglewood flowers
lettuce, turnips, potatoes and salsify
Rockland flowers, turnips, carrots
