A full and interesting meeting and a very fine
exhibit of vegetables & flowers. Our guests were Mrs. Gresham
& daughter, Mrs & Miss Knight; Mrs Richard Bentley, Miss
Rittenhouse, Mrs Maud Miller Street, Eliza Farquhar,
Elizabeth & Maryana Stabler.
Specimens:
Riverside Flowers:- Sharon A large display of
hollyhocks. Avalon:- Flowers & Ripe Tomatoe. Cloverley. Flowers,
corn, salsify, peas, beans, beets, carrots, cabbage, potatoes
onion, large green tomato, and apples. Norwood: - Flowers
cabbage, lettuce, onions, beets, potatoes cymblings snap - beans
cucumbers, carrots, parsnips. Falliing Green: - Flowers: cabbage,
onions, potatoes, beans, peas, beets, cucumbers, br corn,
and apples. Alloway: - beets, salsify, potatoes, Hermon: -
flowers, cabbage cymblingm cucumbers, beans, The Cedars: -
flowers, cabbage onions, corn, and cucumbers. Rock
Spring, cabbage. Edgewood:- apples. Tanglewood: - Flowers
cabbage, beans, peas, cucumbers, ripe tomatoes, onions,
potatoes, carrots and apples, Riverton:- Flowers, potatoes
Stanmore:- cauliflower, beets salsify parsnips, carrots,
onions, potatoes. Fairhill :- Sweet peas.
