Various experiments with nitrate of
soda show it to be a good fertilizer
or stimutant to growing plants. It is applied
in small quantities on the surface
and raked in. If put on just before
a rain it goes into the ground immediately,
apply to peas when they are ready
to stick, a teaspoonful to a rose
bush is a sufficient dose. Some of the
members decided to join and take 500 lbs
