a young asparagus bed; Should it be left
on now? Remove some of it to let in
light and air to the young plants.

6 An asparagus bed not worked in
the spring , should it be worked
now? Yes. lightly.

7 Is salt a ferilizer for asparagus
or used to kill weeds? It is good
for it but does not take the place of
manure

The rain continued and we
missed our walk. We admired the
magnolias on the trees near the
house and an orange tree very full
blooms on the porch
