kerosene emulsion at the experiment

Yes they are handsome on
the tree but very inferior to our own
and the trees are short-lived

3 Will seed sweet corn left over be good
next year? Most likely but it is best
not to plant old seed.

4 Has any one tried Japanese vineberry?
Several have them growing but have
not had enough fruit to give it a fair
trial. The sprightly taste is more like
that of red currants than raspberries.
Birds are very fond of them.

5 How general has been the tomato blight?
Very few have been troubled with it.
some have used Bordeaux mixture for
it. Nitrate of soda is said to make
the plants so vigorous, they resist
the disease
