with stone is recommended by some
and it is very important to fill up the

12 What is the best fertilizer for strawberries
Use nitrate of soda early in the
spring. dissolved animal bone with
potash is recommeded for present use

13 How soon should strawberries be planted?
Not until April. It is a waste of time
to plant them in the fall.

14 How is the tomato crop this year and is
spraying an advantage? The crop
15 generally has been poor - Some sprayed
them and never had a poorer crop
others sprayed and had a fine crop

The walk in the garden was enjoyed
by all and we found much to admire
The roses especially were in fine condition
and everything looked even lovlier
than usual in the sunshine of the
perfect afternoon.
