the April meeting was taken up and
the motion was not voted for even by
its proposer.

Questions
1 Are chickens more likely to have gapes
in a place when they have been previously
troubled than if put on a
new ground? The usual theories
on this familiar question were expressed;
most are of the opinion
that it is wise to change the
location of the yard. One suggestion
was that two yards be used, one being
sowed in rye or some other crop
and the other used for the chickens
The next year the newly plowed yard
is used for the chickens

2 Is it worth while to plant beets again
the early ones having been frosted? Yes

3 Is this late or early for sugar beets?
They might have been planted earlier
but it is not too late.

4 Is there any connection between the locust
bloom and the corn crop? It is
thought not.

5 Should a new asparagus bed be
