Rock Spring

A change in their appointed
times of meeting having been effected
between Rock Spring and Riverton, "The
"Horticultural" assembled for its July meeting
at Rock Spring on the 4th.

The holiday, consequent visitors and
harvest time, kept a few people away
but most households were represented
and there were some guests.

In the absence of the President, Roger
B. Farquhar, as host, being exempt, the
meeting was called to order by John
C. Bentley. A note of greeting from
Henry C. Hallowell was then read and
George E. Brooke sent "his love to the Horticultural"
Both messages were received
with pleasure and the secretary was directed
to write to the two gentlemen
in acknowledgement of their kind
interest. The minutes of the last meeting
were then read, after which the
selected articles. Ellen Farquhar had
chosen a most timely one upon
herbs, as interest in that class of
