Gather it now - The leaves only and simply spread
out to dry.
13 Should different varities of trees be planted
at different times?
No - Evergreens excepted
14 Has any one planted Keiffer pears from cuttings?
Yes - John C. Bentley has succeeded well in
doing so and recommends cutting from Mr. Jones
in Fairfax.

A short interval before the bountiful supper
was pleasantly spent in visiting lawn and garden
and among the many attractive features of the
place one a white clematis aroused univeral
admiration The delicate vine was so thickly set with
lovely stars that it seemed like a bit of the Milkey
Way fallen to Earth.
