Readers had not been appointed for
this meeting. Volunteer, E. S. Iddings read
Strawberries from runners planted before
roots had appeared. Some thought it
might be a good plan in a rainy
season. Planting in early spring preferred
Forethought suggested that a committe
to be appointed to name the varieties
of garden seeds best suited best suited
to this neighborhood. It met with great
approbation and the committee was
appointed to meet at John Bentley's
of our Society. Committe of six members
will meet at 12 o'clock, and prepare
a list to lay before the society
