After lunch the meeting was called
to order and we proceeded to business
1st Reader John Bentley read an article
on introducing the sweet potato into
European markets
2nd Mary Magruder absent. Volunteer
Dr. Kirk Lime for vegetables increasing
the yield of grapes, black berries
raspberries, asparagus, onions, etc.
Exhibits
Cedar Lawn, Roses, peppers, tomatoes
and a handsome pepper plant
covered with buds, blossoms and
fruit in all stages of growth
from those just formed to ripe
Rock Spring, corn mangol Wortzel, tomatoes,
pears and peaches.
Rockland, Flowers, eggs - plant, sweet
potatoes, corn, Lima beans
and peanuts
