Riverside Temp
April 1st 1902 40° to 42°

After some lovely, mild days in
March that tempted the most enthusiastic
members to put in seeds,
this day of our first meeting for the
year, was very cold, mercury at 40°
and a strong wind blowing. Our
President expressed his pleasure in the
zeal which brought such a "goodlie
companie" together and that our circle
is unbroken.

The biennial election of officers took
place and resulted in the re-election
of the former officers.

The minutes were read and approved
and the secretary is grateful for the
commendations of the society.

The readers appointed for this meeting
1st Frances Stabler found her selection was
so similar to an article read at a recent
meeting that she did not read
2nd Anna Farquhar was absent
Volunteer, by Ellen Farquhar, "Sowing flower
seeds", A cold frame the best to start
