extremely large flowers, remove all the
flowerbuds except one to a stalk
Instead of this she proposes that
we try taking of all but twenty and
have much larger flowers than if all
grow, and tho' not so large as by
florists methods, they will be large
enough and plenty of them
2nd Helen Thomas, "On Snowballs" an application
of sulphur for a disease or
of kerosene for something which makes
snowball bushes unhealthy, but suggests
replacing the common kind
with the Japanese variety which is
said to be finer.
