Early Rose? Yes, the early Bouce,
Roger Farhuhar plants it. It is not
so large as early rose but matures same

2 Should canteloupes be gathered green?
Some kinds, perhaps all, are better off
taken off when full grown and ripened
in the house.

3 What time so poppy seeds? As soon
as ripe. Self sown poppies bloom early.

4 Where plant plum trees and where
get them? Plant early in the Spring.
The wide-goose and common blue
can be got in the neighborhood. The
larger kinds from nursery men.

5 When gather damsons? When ready to fall.

6 Potatoes in a new garden are scabby
What is the reason? Supposed the manure
used was not old enough.
Best get new seed and plant in
another place next year.

7 When flowers sow their seeds, what
is to prevent their being overcome with
weeds? Pull the weeds

8 Any way of having a perennial
bed of parsley? Best to sow seeds
