cuttings and was referred to Mary
Magruder. A box four inches deep
filled with rich earth and a layer
of sand on top, put in the cuttings
leaving two buds above ground and
taking off some leaves.

On our walk we found a very
clean garden: Many rows of especially
fine cabbage. On the flower garden
were plenty of flowers, roses, nasturtiums,
petunias etc
