as usual, in a cool, shady room.

John Bentley's kept nicely in a light cellar

1 A fine sugar-maple has no grass
under it, no top dressing has any
affect? Mulching might do good
Possibly there are rocks near the
surface.

2 In preparing for an asparagus bed
should it be plowed in the fall?
