6th Some currant bushes with discolored
leaves which at a former
meeting had been pronounced all
right now have their foliage much
distorted. Why? Thought to be too rapid
growth.

7th Corn which came up well is now
diseased, what is the cause? Upon
examination of the specimen, bud worm was found.

8th What is wrong with the onions this
year? Onion worm is prevalent.

9 Why do the nasturtium leaves turn
yellow? A blight largely due to the
wet season. Trimming and thinning
leaves advised.

10 Is it too late to sow onion seeds for
onions in the coming winter? Rather
late. Still it would be well to try it.

11th Is there any remedy for chicken cholera
and should any of the flock be used for
the table? It would be running a risk
to eat any of them, and every part of
their run should be thoroughly dis-infected
with Standard oil of Tar.

A tea of Red oak bark was recommended
