When is the time to cut off the tops of asparagus plants? Not too early. But before the seeds ripen.
The rain had fallen at intervals during the meeting, so that few were to inspect the garden which meant much disappointment. All who saw them commented upon the nubmer of fine cauliflowers, and spoken in terms of warm commendation upon the flourishing condition of the garden and the order and neatness everywhere apparent.
