business was suspended for a while
Enough rain fell to prevent our visiting
the gardens. At supper the
lamps were lighted, but soon the
sun shone brilliantly and the
sparkling rain drops on the leaves
and branches brought forth exclamations
of delight at the beautiful
scene.
