Cloudy & Rainy all the morning
Went to B Rush Robert's and to
Harewood to see B.G Stabler.
Prescribed for Joshua Sedgwick at
B R Robert's. Afternoon walked to
H. T + R. J Lea's "outdoor" steam mill".
After tea walked up to store.

29º Clear. N.W.
February- Sunday 1st

Charley went to "meeting". High
wind& feels cold. Chad Cephas
Hammond called - Afternoon C
rode down to R T Bently's + "Betty" broke
loose & ran home. I walked down
to see after him &sat awhile
with Richard & Edith.
After tea Dora, Charley, Willie
& I went to the meeting house
to a "Peace Meeting" held by
Mrs Amanda De Yow - and
husband.

February- Monday 2d 1880

Cold & frosty morning. Warwick
P Miller called. I went to Alloway
to see friend Caleb Stabler, to B Rush
Robert's and to Harewood.
Geo Gris by here for advice & med.
Julia Hallowell here to tea after
which she, Dora & Charley went to
Albin Gilpin's to a meeting of the
"Sociable". Terrible stormy night
wind blew violently from the NE
accompanied with a driving snow,
the first real winter night we
have had. Julia Hallowell Returned
with our young people &
staid all night.

Snow + Sleet. W.
31º Tuesday 3d

Weather moderated towards morning.
I drove Julia Hallowell over
to Harewood taking Dora in the
Sleigh, the first time the Sleigh
has been used this winter.
Cleared off about noon and
grew colder again. Afternoon
I took Dora, Willie & Edward to
Fulford & Ashton for a sleigh ride.
After tea Charley took the sleigh
and went after some of the young
ladies for a sleigh ride.
