and had both horses "Rough shod" "
"all around". Afternoon took H
and Edwd a sleigh Ride.
RB Philps here for advice for wife
After bed time Arthur Stabler
here with mashed face &^c
his buggy having broken down
& thrown him out. Charley
away in sleigh until near
midnight at N Fulford -

Thursday 5th

Went to R B Phelp's in Howard Co.
Afternoon went to Alloway
to see friend Caleb Stabler.

Went to Harewood to see Arthur
& Gilpin Stabler and to RB Philp's
Sent omnibus to Marlows -
Jus Stones team brought us a
load of hay - F. Tyson came
up from Laurel at tea time
in one of "Millstead's" buggies -
Sat up until quite late - had
music &^c &^c - Very glad to
entertain my old friend again

Took F Tyson in the little buggy
to Sally Lea's, Lizzie Tyson's & Jno. M
Smith's where we dined & I left him
to go with JMS to Saml J Hopkins -
and John left him here on their
return about tea time.
Walked up to the store after tea.
Sat up until late, having some
music after Charley came home.
