February- Thursday 12th 1880

Rained almost all of last night
Cloudy & dull this morning -
Went to Ashton in "little buggy -
Afternoon was taken with sick
headache and suffered much
until I at length got to sleep
about 8 p.m. -

Cloudy - SE
40º Friday 13th

Very warm & sultry still feel
quite unwell. Drove up to Fulford
before dinner. about home
all rest of the day.
Geo. Sprigg here for advice & med:
for his wife. Charley went to the
"Musical" at Jos T. Moore's taking Miss
Alice Tyson with him. Rained very
violently nearly all the evening. He got
home about mid night at which time
I was called to prescribe for Philip
Johnson (plasterer)

February- Saturday 14th.

Slept none last night. Charley broke
down one of the little buggy wheels.
last night & I was obliged to fix it
before breakfast & put the pole on.
Went to see Philip Johnson at his
brother "Wash's", called to see
Mrs Knight: Roads Horrible
Benj H Miller here for examination,
advice &c. Jno. Dogtree here
& had tooth out.

Sunday 15th

Some snow fell but melted as
fast as it touched the ground.
Cornelius Leizear Jr: here for
advice & med for his mother.
Walked over to meeting house but
did not go inside not feeling very
well. Afternoon Bro. Richard
called & sat awhile. C & I drove
up to Fulford. I went in to North
Fulford to inspect my vaccinated
patients. C & Dora took a drive
to "Norbeck". Ed. Chalfont here
to tea & to spend night with
Willie they went to Bible Class.
