here: Went to his home to prescribe
for his daughter Martha.
Afternoon, went to Cornelius
Leizear's - Lucinda Johnson
here with her infant with an
injured arm. Bro. Richard
dined with us and took Dora
with him to Riverside.
Charley commenced changing the
Evening Mail here, in my office.
33º Clear. N.W.
Tuesday 17th
Went to Remus Johnson's and
examined infant's arm. thence
to "Ashton" where I purchased a
new carpet for the "office parlor".
Afternoon I went to Leawood
Mills & got some flour.
also went to Colebrook Farm to
prescribe for Ernest Lawford's
infant son "Freddy"
After supper Charley went to
Riverside & brought his sister
home.

February- Wednesday 18th 1880
Had my hot bed filled with manure,
glazed the sash and put
it in place - Harriet, Grandmother,
& Dora made & put down the new
carpet in the parlor. which adds
greatly both to the comfort & looks
of the Room . Went to Frederic
Stabler's to prescribe for his daughter
"Rose". Rained most of afternoon
& evening. Extracted tooth for
Lewellen Massey .

About home all day high
wind blowing all of last night
and continues today. Put a new
oil cloth cover on my desk, also
finished, Dora's hanging "Hall
Lamp" for the front passsage or
Hall-
