with diarrhoea. Geo: Stiffler
came & commenced painting the
window blinds. Tom Bond
here before breakfast.
I hung the front dining room
window shutters

Thursday 24th

Jno Ed: Hill's wife here with her
infant for advice & treament.
Drove to Riverside & got some ice
for Charley who is somewhat better.
Geo: Stiffler here painting Brought
home the little rat terrier pup
"Nip" and trimmed his ears. Killed
the old female cat. After tea I
took the whole family in the Germantown"
a drive, over to Riverside
& back about dark .

June Friday 25th 1880

Very warm and sultry. Charley
much better : went to duty again
at store. Mr Geo: Stiffler at work
at the window blinds finishing
them about 5 p.m. Thunderstorm
about sundown. E Chalfant came
to spend the night with Willie -

Saturday 26th

Still very close & warm. Went
to Fred: Stablers & prescribed for
Patty. Sister B sent boy for iron
bed stead. Heavy storm passed
south of us in the afternoon cooling
the air preceptibly. I made a
lounge bed-stead for the kitchen
Jno Bentley called me up
to get something for a sick horse
Charley went home with Ernest
after the store closed.
